This clip is the Big Sky Championship game continued (first 2:56) and then the NCAA 1st Rd game against North Carolina (2:56 and on). Weber State went 13-3 in conference in the 1998-99 season. Coach Abegglen lead the team to the Big Sky Championship where the 'Cats beat the Lumberjacks of NAU. NAU's coach at the time was Ben Howland, former WSU basketball player and current UCLA head coach. The Weber/North Carolina game is still considered one of the biggest first round upsets in NCAA Tournament history. Since this historical game between the 14-seed Weber State Wildcats and the 3-seed North Carolina Tarheels, only two 14's have won since.
