JC transfer Kellen McCoy is playing is junior year here at WSU. McCoy (5'6", 170) played 2 seasons at Northern Oklahoma. Last season he averaged 19.5 ppg, 5.5 rebs, & 4.8 assists.

1. When was the first time you heard of Weber State?
The first time I heard of Weber State was when Coach Linder called me and started to recruit me.
2. How were you recruited?
I was recruited by Coach Linder out of junior college; he called me up and now I’m here.
3. Why did you come to Weber State or how did you decide on Weber?
I liked the coaches a lot, it’s a great program and the players here are the kind of guys I like to put myself around.
4. How do you like Weber State/Ogden/Utah?
I like Weber State and Ogden, it’s a nice little town, it’s a change for me but its cool checking out the mountains every time I walk outside.
5. What is your Major?
Communications
6. What do you plan/want to do after you graduate?
I want play basketball overseas or somewhere, and once that’s done, I’d like to find work in broadcast communications.
7. What is your favorite professional sports team?
I don’t really a favorite team; my favorite player is Chris Paul so I’d have to say the hornets.

10. Something interesting about you or something you’ve done that WSU fans wouldn’t know?
I’m double jointed in my legs, so on the court you may see some ugly stuff happen with my legs but just don’t worry I’ll get back up.

Kelly Belly ( For my mothers use only) ,The Real McCoy, Kel’s, Shorty, all the good short names you can think of I’ve been called.
