Age: 22 Position: Guard High School: Forthworth Poly (Texas) Junior College: Howard JC (Texas) Hometown: Fortworth, Texas This is Dezmon Harris' senior year at WSU. He transferred here before last season where he started as a junior in 2006-07; this year will be his second and final year to start for the 'Cats. Q&A with wsubball.com 1. When was the first time you heard of Weber State? The first time I heard of Weber was when I watched them play against North Carolina in the NCAA tournament [1999]. 2. How were you recruited? I was recruited when I was in junior college by Coach Rahe. Coach Rahe called me on the phone and we talked and set up a visit to come here and here I am. 3. Why did you come to Weber State or how did you decide on Weber? I came to Weber because I felt like it was a great opportunity for me to get an education and to play basketball. Weber has a great winning tradition. 4. How do you like Weber State/Ogden/Utah? I like it out here. The people are nice and the community supports the basketball team well. 5. What is your Major? My major is Technical Sales. 6. What do you plan/want to do after you graduate? I plan to graduate and play professional basketball. 7. What is your favorite professional sports team? I don’t really have one but my favorite basketball player is Allen Iverson of the Denver Nuggets. 8. Movie? My favorite movie is American Gangster 9. Recording artist? T.I. King of the South 10. Something interesting about you or something you’ve done that WSU fans wouldn’t know? I was on the all-tournament team in the Big Sky Championship tournament [last year]. | ||||||||||||
