Danny Johnson recently returned home from serving an LDS mission. Before his mission he redshirted his freshman year at ISU. This season is the first year of hoops for the 21 year old since 2004. As a senior in high school in 2003-04, Danny scored 18 points per game and grabbed more than nine boards per contest.

1. When was the first time you heard of Weber State?
My earliest memory is of Harold “The Show” Arceneaux.
2. How were you recruited?
I was on a mission and the ISU coaches changed and it didn’t work out to go back so my family contacted Coach Rahe and here I am.
3. Why did you come to Weber State or how did you decide on Weber?
I’ve always liked the program and my parents really liked the coaches so I decided it would be a good fit.
4. How do you like Weber State/Ogden/Utah?
Great, Great, Great. Ogden is fun because it’s growing a lot. What is not to love about the beehive state? It is a little cold but I can deal with that.
5. What is your Major?
Business Administration
6. What do you plan/want to do after you graduate?
Right now the plan is going to Law School.
7. What is your favorite professional sports team?
Utah Jazz

Right now a Guster CD is in my CD player.
10. Something interesting about you or something you’ve done that WSU fans wouldn’t know?
I lived in Europe for six years (3 years in England and 3 years in Holland).
