Sixth Man shirt $6 Shirt pics
As you will be interested to find out, the Purple Pak has made a shirt known as the Sixth Man Shirt. For all of you who don't have any idea who or what the sixth man is, I will explain through a story about our championship team from a year ago led by senior David Patten.

Almost exactly one year ago Weber State was playing a team that had just entered the Big Sky Conference in the Bears from the University of Northern Colorado. Weber was winning, as they usually do at home, and the Center for the Bears jumped up to grab a rebound at the same time as our David Patten did. The Center from the Bears violently swung his arms catching Patten's eye, which fractured his eye socket. The 'Cats won the game but the fans were very worried they wouldn't have their star player back to play Northern Arizona, whom they were tied with for first place.

To make a long story short, the 'Cats played NAU 2 days later and at one point were losing to the 'Jacks with about 7 minutes to go. The crowd got into the game at that moment and Weber came back and beat the Big Sky defending champion Lumberjacks, thus giving the Wilcats the chance to host the Big Sky tournament and to later be invited to play the Bruins of UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The sixth man is the most important part in playing at home and thus the student section is known as the SIXTH MAN! This shirt is currently for sale at all Weber State home games at the Dee Events Center, also, at the Bookstore, and at the Davis Campus.
